Cedar Valley and the Rise of the Mystery Curd
When I am out, roaming the Wisconsin countryside for the best cheese curd, I live by one rule: purchase curds only from the factory store. It’s a fairly simple and straight forward approach. While I know that many places across the state sell cheese and curds, I kind of take issue with those who just throw curds on the counter for the profits. Going Back to my Cheese Roots
My earliest memory of visiting a cheese factory dates back to the mid-1980s when I was about 3 or 4 years-old. We lived close to Hustisford, a small town south-central Wisconsin, in which the closest cheese factory was located, Radloff’s Cheese.
